Well okay so he asked me come to the kitchens so we could bake cookies, like genuinely bake cookies which was great because I starting baking in summer, can’t make cookies though. They hate me. But we were just talking and he was being really nice and he called me beautiful. Then he was like ‘maybe I could come see you some time’, I freaked out on the inside. Did he like as me on a date or something? I said maybe, I think he might think that I rejected him point blank. It got a little…odd after, he sort of started making little circles on my arm and was all looking into my eyes and then we had a food fight. -breaths out- Help?

Right. Okay. Wow… Um… Well, it definitely sounds like he could like you. The “see you sometime” on its own would be debatable but looking into your eyes, drawing circles on your arm… Generally any kind of touching means there are feelings there. Depending on how intimate it was, it could be a friendly gesture or an attraction. What was the tone of the conversation? Drawing circles is usually done as a sort of comforting thing… Like when you’re upset your friend holds your hand and draws circles with their thumb. Then again, if the conversation was just a normal conversation, and there was no need for comfort, then it becomes intimate again…
